Approximately 12 million women in the United States experience clinical depression each year. Research done by JAMA Internal Medicine, found that meditating is about as effective as antidepressants when healing anxiety and depression. Meditation scientifically reduces stress, it increases productivity and decreases stress…sounds like a modern day tool we need. Let’s admit: many of us are over-scheduled and over-stimulated – emotionally, mentally, and physically.  Being stressed is a direct outcome from out-of-balance lifestyles and those habitual non nourishing choices we make.
